my response to the teachers

1. What piece of work and learning are you most proud? Explain.

I'm most proud of writing the script for Ancient Egypt, I thought it was fun and easy, because I like to act and write what I want to write.

2. What were your greatest challenges? Explain.
Math, I thought it was very complicated and challenging. After a while I think I get what I'm meant to do, but I can forget things after a while.

3. Reflecting on your growth this year, what did you learn about yourself as a learner?
I learned if I listen in class then things would be A LOT easier. I can put in more effort if I listen because I know what I'm going to do instead of asking someone that doesn't explain it properly.

4. To evaluate your work habits, choose 1 of the following from each category ( and provide explanations):

a) Behavior

Satisfactory. I listen in class sometimes, because it gets boring when the teacher keeps on speaking FOREVER and only stops until we have to do our work.

Satisfactory. I mostly participate in class, but it's either only when the Teacher calls on me, or if I know the answer to it.

c) Organization

I'm super organized. My locker is nice and tidy in the mornings, because I clean it out, but at the end of school its really dirty and I can't really find anything.

d) Effort

Satisfactory. I usually put effort into my work, it really depends on what I am doing, if its something that is due in a long time then I can put a lot of effort into it, but if its something that is due the next day and is hard to understand then I cant really put as much effort into it.

5. Based upon your reflections, write two personal learning goals for Grade 7 next year.

Goal 1 - In Grade 7, I plan to listen a lot more to the Teachers while they are talking and explaining what to do.


Goal 2 - In Grade 7, I plan to put effort into work, and put a long time doing it.


6.Is there any more information about yourself that you would like the teachers to know?

How do we save the Earth?

How do we save the Earth? It may sound easy and very simple, but it isn't. Taking care of the Earth means BIG responsibilities, for example turning off your air con when your not using it, turning off the T.V. when its not needed, taking out your charger for your laptop or anything when it has full battery, and maybe turning all your lights off when there not being used in the daytime (you shouldn't have them on in the day anyway, you have the sun, unless your in a VERY dark room that you cant see in). We can also use the 3 R's, Reuse, Reduce, Recycle. And lastly I think we should have Earth hour 3 times a week, for 1/2 an hour, because 1/2 an hour once a year! If we have Earth hour 3 times a week then the Earth would have a lot more then 30 mins a year!


If there is anything that is not in useful to you anymore, then you can always give it to a younger sibling, or someone thats in need. Reduce, we can reduce the amount of trees that are cut down by using computers more, and instead of printing out work we can send it to the person that needs it. We also can save power by turning off everything that is not in use.

That is how I think WE can save the Earth :)

Malaysia Week and Spring Break

Malaysia Week felt like an early Spring Break, all we did was fish, sleep, relax, play cards, and one day we had to DISSECT FISH! Gross right? I had to cut off the poor things head. Later on we ate the fish that we dissected, it tasted a bit like chicken but with bones. In the 4 days that we had to catch the fish I only caught 21 fish, it was my first time fishing and I had past my goal. 20 fish that was my goal. On the second last day we went to the beach for about 3-4 hours, it was the funnest part about the whole Malaysia week. I wonder what I'm going to do over Spring Break, NOTHING! I'm staying home for the whole thing. I might go to my friends house and he might come to mine. I think we may go to a cafe and maybe a Cyber Cafe. At least that's something to do. This Spring Break's going to be really boring! I can't wait till the next Spring Break, I'm going to Hong Kong and watch the Rugby!

My name is Edward, but everyone calls me Teddy. I live in Malaysia Kuala Lumpur (KL),
I've lived here almost my whole life. I'm really into Music because to me ITS THE BEST! When ever I do my homework I turn on my music and it helps me do my work. I've been in I.S.K.L. (International School of Kuala Lumpur) for about 7 years now, I started in Kindergarten, I was 5 when I started at this school. My hobbies are playing games, computer games, social games, card games, etc. I also like talking to my friends, acting, break-dancing and of course listening to MUSIC! I go on Facebook almost everyday, it depends if my internet works or not. I don't really have a favorite song, some of them are awsome and some aren't that good.

I choose these words because they are the best the describe me. And some of them are just what I like. The Big letter words are my favorite because I think they are the most important. I like chocolate because it tastes really good! I like music because most songs sound good and they give me something to do while I work or do homework or play games with it. I am Enthusiastic because I ask many questions and I want to learn about what we are learning in that class. I am Responsible because if I wasn't then I'd get into a lot of trouble and I would loose many items. I put Effort into a lot of my humanities homework and I try to put it into my other classes but they are pretty hard.

The Medium sized ones are the ones that are o.k. and I either kind of like them or am them and they are quite important. Short Distance is means I'm a short Distance runner because to me its easier and I am pretty fast at short distance running. I am an actor because I like to act and I am pretty good at it.I like computer because when I get bored and I have nothing to do I play my computer and I chat with my friends and I play computer games. I am funny at times with my friends or in classes and I make up jokes or I make faces.I have 5 dogs at home and they mean a lot to me, one of my dogs has a broken foot but I think it was healed once we got it fixed but my other dog took it out again. Green is my favorite color and guess what, all my tooth brushes are green!

The small words are the ones that I do but I don't really do them or I have them and there just things that are there to show. Thinks is just that I think a lot when I do my homework and for school sometimes. Talks is another thing, I like to talk to people at times when I get bored, I talk about funny times and normal times with my friends because it makes them laugh. I am creative at times aswel when I think I add in creativity to work I do in school and home. Freedom is another thing, I am free at school, 10 mins between each class, and 50 mins of lunch. And lastly I'm in grade 6 thats why its there!

SPCA, HELP SAVE THE ANIMALS!!!!!

Hey guys!!!! We really have to save the animals! We can do that by bringing in the animals who are in need, and people might adopt them from carnicals or animal adoption places in shopping malls. We can also bring in toys, food, litter boxes, etc. for the animals so at least they would get fed alot, hey i got 5 dogs, yes it is hard to take care of them. The animals really need YOU! so please please make sure you save at least one animal by at least taking in one item, you dont have to if you dont want to but if you do, some will die, you cant save all of them! I'm sorry to say but its life and somtimes there time comes... its very sad but its what happens. At least you would have saved one or two. But the goverment should really make the prices higher for animal violence. And if you see an animal getting hit or hurt or anything that someone or somthing is doing to it and REPORT IT QUICKLY TO THE SPCA!!!! SAVE THE ANIMALS! STOP THE ANIMAL VIOLENCE ITS NOT NICE JUST CRUEL!!
